Larsen – XO Reserve – Cognac

The nose is powerful, quite fruity and offers elegance, a certain harmony and a fine grain. It reveals notes of caramelized apple, caramelized brugnon, small notes of caramelized mandarine associated with touches of dry lemon, a hint of orangette, discreet hints of mirabelle eau-de-vie, tobacco, grilled hazelnut and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers a fine freshness, harmony, a small fullness, suavity as well as gourmandize and a small juiciness. On the palate this Cognac expresses notes of Zante currant, caramel apple, small notes of caramelized orange associated with touches of crystallized lemon, caramel pear as well as hints of pâtisserie, lychee, peach flowers, discreet hints of tobacco, chocolate, pepper and a subtle hint of menthol liquorice (in the background).
