The nose is well-balanced and  slightly powerful. It reveals slight notes of ripe blackberry and slight hints of cassis associated with hints of spices, fresh/ripe raspberry, fresh/ripe cherry as well as a discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, elegant and offers a beautiful roundness, a good definition as well as a beautiful juicy frame/acidity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and slight notes of fresh/ripe strawberry, racy minerality associated with hints of cassis s well as discreet hints of cherry/red berries, toasted oak/chocolate and a discret hint of sweet spices/bourbon vanilla. The finish is a bit chewy. On the aftertaste there is a hint of caramelization.
