The nose is fruity, racy and offers intensity, a fine grain, deepness as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of wild blackberry and ripe wild cassis associated with fine touches of fleshy strawberry, blue fruits as well as discreet hints of peony, spices (nutmeg…) and an imperceptible hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beaituful acidulous frame, minerality, suavity, a beautiful gourmandize, a small tension, a beautiful finesse of the texture as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/crushed cassis and small notes of fleshy/fresh raspberry associated with small touches of fresh/juicy blue fruits, hints of flowers as well as discreet hints of ripe almond, sweet spices, toasted and an imperceptible varietal hint (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Beautiful persistence.
