The nose is racy, elegant and offers a small power as well as complexity. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, crushed raspberry, small notes of cherry blossom associated with small touches of Boysen berry, juicy cassis as well as a hint of violet, camphor, sweet spices, a very discreet hint of tobacco and pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension, precision, suppleness as well as gourmandize, a beautiful juicy fruit, suavity, silkiness and dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe strawberry, raspberry, small notes of bright Boysen berry associated with touches of crushed redcurrant, juicy cassis as well as hints of rose, lilac, nutmeg, very discreet hints of sense of the place, a subtle hint of pepper and chocolate. Tannins are elegant, well-built and precise.
