The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and slight hints of vanilla associated with discreet hints of crushed raspberry, coconut as well as a subtle hint of liquorice (in the background) and a very discreet hint of violet. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight juiciness, a slight suavity, a small fat, a certain intensity as well as an acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cassis, redcurrant and slight hints of black cherry associated with hints of fleshy raspberry, vanilla, toasted/sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a fruity taste on the finish. Good length and persistence. There is gourmandize and slight notes of toasted/vanilla on the persistence, as well as a slight acidity on the finish.
