The nose is fruity, gourmand and aromatic. It reveals notes of crushed redcurran, cherry candy and small notes of garrigue, black olive associated with slight hints of crème de cassis, crushed blackberry as well as slight hints of spices, a very discreet hint of violet and a subtle hint of undergrowth/mushroom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, elegant and offers a beautiful minerality, a beautiful finesse, tension as well as a certain straightness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, redcurrant cream and small notes of crushed boysenberry associated with a subtle hint of violet, touches of graphite, racy/salin minerality, touches of spices as well as a subtle hint of coffee and bitter dark chocolate on the finish. Tannins are fine and well-built/ beautiful suavity and gourmandise on the finish. Wonderful persistence!
