Cos d’Estournel (blanc) 2022 – Bordeaux Blanc

Cos d’Estournel (blanc) 2022 – Bordeaux Blanc

A pretty, very fine, elegant, ample nose which offers delicacy in its power, fullness. It expresses notes of fresh apple, crunchy/fresh pear and more slightly – white flowers associated with touches of fresh lemon as well as hints of acacia flowers, with a discreet hint almost infusion, almost noble sap. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, accuracy, tension, roundness, a nice airy fatness, energy, depth. It expresses notes of crystallized lemon, bright vine peach and more slightly – small crunchy white fruits, associated with touches of fresh lemon, a subtle hint of zest, ripe/bright peaches, as well as fine hints of pineapple, acacia flowers and discreet hints of fresh verbena and a subtle hint of fresh spices. Harmonious, almost a discreet tannic hint both in the aromatic and in the structure. Difficult to access in its complexity.
