Col Vetoraz Extra Brut Cuvée 5, 2022 – Valdobbiadene DOCG

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color, with silver reflections. The nose expresses a precise and refined mineral framework, associated with sweet and delicate notes of ripe citrus fruits and honey. We find a chalky and saline touch on the first nose, associated with notes of ripe lemon, fresh grated lemon zest, lemon juice, grapefruit, as well as white peach, ripe green apple and acacia, with a hint of honey of wildflowers. On the palate, the wine is airy, chiselled and refined. It offers elegant mineral (limestone, salinity), fruity and tangy notes (lemon zest, lemon, grapefruit), as well as a touch of honey, yogurt and brioche, thanks to the batonnage. The bubbles are fine, delicate and persistent. A lively acidity refreshes and balances the wine. An elegant and complex Proseco, with a nice length.
