Clos Margalaine 2022 – Margaux

Clos Margalaine 2022 – Margaux

The nose is fruity, precise and spicy. It offers notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, fresh strawberry, red cherry and raspberry, combined with notes of black pepper, licorice, cumin, smoke, roasted aromatic herbs, dried mint, cornflower and peony. On the palate, we find the tight and astringent side of an early wine, accompanied by concentration and the juiciness of its fruity substance. The wine expresses notes of tangy black fruits and ripe red fruits (blackcurrant, morello cherry, strawberry, red cherry, raspberry), spices (licorice, black pepper, cumin), violet, as well as a slight touch of cocoa bitter, mint chocolate. The tannins are fine, but powerful and dry, balanced by a good level of acidity. Beautiful substance and persistence in the mouth.
