Château Plaisance 2018 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The nose is aromatic and offers generosity, a fine power and a good definition. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, bright blueberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of small bright red berries, juicy quetsch plum, lilac as well as hints of a discreet hint of liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, gourmandize as well as a fine tension, a fine richness and a certain generosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, bright blackberry, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of bright blueberry, small red berries as well as a hint of cherry blossom, lilac, cornflower and a very fine hint of liquorice/spices. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
