Château Pierre 1er 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is rather reserved, it expresses delicate floral (violet, cornflower), fruity (strawberry, red cherry, morello cherry, black plum, raspberry), as well as herbaceous aromas (menthol, thyme) and light spicy touches (pepper). white, toasted vanilla, nutmeg) and a slight touch of coffee. On the palate, the wine is juicy and fluid (in a good way), with good hold, a firm tannic structure and a drying finish. The wine expresses flavors of morello cherry, blackcurrant, strawberry, red cherry and raspberry, accompanied by notes of dried mint, thyme, dried blueberry and more lightly – ground coffee. The finish is rather persistent, with fruity notes and a medium level of acidity, quite fresh. The wine is closed, but structured and concentrated.
