The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers deepness, concentration, a very fine freshness as well as a beautiful material (all in finess). It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis, black cherry and small touches of wild strawberry, garonnaise gravels (Graves) (terroir) associated with subtle hints of flowers, very discreet touches of toasted, cocoa, menthol as well as an imperceptible hint of almond, toasted oak/vanilla, tea and a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, aerial, racy (terroir) and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a beautiful juiciness, a small fat, density, precision, a beautiful fullness, a beautiful definition, a mineral frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed blackberry and more slightly crunchy redcurrant associated with a fine touch of fresh wild flowers, fresh cassis as well as subtle touches of cocoa, toasted, toasted oak, sugared mild tobacco and cocoa.
