Château Pibran 2017 – Pauillac

The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers concentration as well as a fine elegance. It reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and more slightly crunchy wild strawberry associated with fine touches of gravels (Graves) as well as discreet touches of Timut pepper and a hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, a fine unctuosity, suavity, a fine gourmandize, power, freshness, a beautiful grain, a fine tension, precision as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes if fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis, black cherry and more slightly fresh redcurrant associated with small touches of dark chocolate, liquorice as well as subtle touches of racy minerality/gravels (Graves). Tannins are fine and slightly firm. There is an imperceptible hint of menthol and caramelization on the persistence. Good length. Beautiful persistence
