Château Mayne Lalande 2020 – Listrac-Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration/power, a certain deepness, a fine grain as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, small notes of small wild red berries associated with touches of lily, racy minerality as well as a fine hint of plum flower, dark tea and a discreet hint of pepper. The mouth offers freshness, juiciness, freshness, a good definition, a certain minerality as well as a juicy/acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, raspberry, small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of lily, lilac, racy/gravely fresh minerality as well as fine hints of fresh nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of grey pepper (in the background). The tannins are very firm and precis. Good length.
