Château Les Trois Croix 2020 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers aromas of small crushed fruit and minerality. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cherry and slight hints of violet associated with touches of cherry blossom as well as hints of star anise and pulpy berries. The palate is fruity, chiseled, and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh/mineral frame, energy, as well as fattiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, pulpy wild strawberry and slight notes of fleshy/juicy cherry associated with touches of violet, lily as well as hints of chocolate/tonka bean and a hint of vanilla (in the background). The tannins are supple and well-developed. Good length and sapidity. A good job on the good bitters.
