The nose is fruity and reveals a certain racy, fine-grained/tight power. There are notes of boysenberry, bright raspberry and more lightly of pulpy red berries combined with a fine touch of blue berries, a hint of star anise, fresh blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, minerality, energy, good definition and a certain juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, tart/juicy raspberry and more slightly pulpy/acidic redcurrant notes combined with hints of racy minerality as well as hints of lily, liquorice stick, discrete hints of racy minerality/gunpowder. Good length.
