The nose is fresh and fruity. It reveals slight notes of fresh blackberry and fresh/ripe wild strawberry associated with slight notes of flowers as well as a hint of licorice. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful fat, harmony, a good finesse of the grain, unctuosity, a slight freshness as well as a good “guideline”. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/fresh blackberry, fresh/ripe strawberry and discreet hint of red berries associated with touches of licorice, hints of caramelized oak as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence. There is a discreet hint of coffee on the persistence.
