Château La Papeterie 2021 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

Château La Papeterie 2021 – Montagne Saint-Emilion

The nose is fresh, spicy and reveals some concentration as well as a fine, tight grain. There are hints of violet, peony and more lightly cinnamon combined with hints of spice/fresh musk, fresh berries and a subtle hint of bergamot. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/acidic frame, good definition, a certain gourmandize, suppleness and a fine richness/pulpiness. On the palate this wine expresses pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and more lightly bright red berry notes combined with hints of liquorice, chocolate, fine toastiness and a hint of cardamom, cinnamon and mocha on the persistence/retro. The tannins are supple. Good work on the bitter taste.
