Château La Fleur Pétrus 2018 – Pomerol

Château La Fleur Pétrus 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, elegant, aromatic and offers a beautiful precision, intensity and a very beautiful finesse of the grain as well as small flowery side. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of fleshy blackberry associated with fine touches of wild raspberry, flowers (lilac, lily) as well as hints of gray pepper, nutmeg and very fine hints of toasted and discreet hints of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fresh, fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers a beautiful definition and precision, a good freshness, energy, gourmandize,richness/density (but full of balance) as well as a beautiful tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with small touches of fleshy/ripe blueberry as well as touches of liquorice, dark chocolate, toasted and very fine hints of toasted hazelnut and a hint of vanilla. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built.
