The nose is fruity, elegant, complex, racy and offers a fine power as well as fleshiness/juiciness. It reveals notes of cassis, blueberry and more slightly fleshy raspberry associated with discreet hints of vanilla, flowers, sweet spices, Cuben pepper as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom, liquorice and an imperceptible hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, gourmand and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful freshness, fat, a beautiful suavity, a beautiful fullness, a beautiful delicacy, vivacity/dynamism, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a beautiful material/texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/fresh blueberry and more slightly fresh raspberry/red berries associated with fine touches of almond, vanilla, cornflower/lily as well as discreet hints of liquorice, sweet spices, crushed nut (in the background), vanilla and an imperceptible hint of green cardamom. Tannins are fine, straight and very discreetly firm. Good length. Very discreet chews on the finish/persistence.
