The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity/power, a fine freshness as well as density (in finesse). It reveals notes of fleshy/pulpy cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with small touches of liquorice, fine hints of camphor, black pepper and a discreet hint of grilled. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, suavity, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as definition, dynamism, elegance, a certain small straightness, density and a certain gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/bright cassis, pulpy blackberry, small notes of small juicy/acidulous black berries associated with touches of juicy violet plum as well as a hint of grilled, liquorice, camphor, cocoa/mocha, a very discreet hint of lilac/lily and grilled. Good length. Tannins are fine, elegant and straight.
