Château Guibot – La Fourvieille 2021 – Puisseguin Saint-Émilion

Château Guibot – La Fourvieille 2021 – Puisseguin Saint-Émilion

The nose is fruity, fresh, racy, nicely marked by the Cabernet (in its elegance). There are notes of fresh raspberry/blackberry, delicate hints of boysenberry and more slightly of flowers combined with hints of lily, nutmeg, bright berries and fine spice and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals minerality, acidity, good identity, fine juiciness, some tension and precision. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, cherry and slightly fleshy/juicy redcurrant notes with hints of fresh violet, nutmeg as well as fine hints of fresh tobacco and a discreet touch of spice. The finish tightens up. Good length. The tannins are fine and precise.
