Château de L’aumérade Cru Classé Marie-Christine AOP Côtes de Provence 2021

Château de L’aumérade Cru Classé Marie-Christine AOP Côtes de Provence 2021

The wine has a light melon color with apricot highlights. It is clear and shiny. The first nose is discreet on almond and peach. The second nose, on aeration, is more expressive with vanilla, a nice fresh minerality and a cake batter impression. There are very fine notes of nectarine as well as light cream. The tasting is fresh, the attack has a nice salinity. We find small fruits such as apricot but also tangerine zest and lemon blossom. The mid-palate also reveals the crushed currant and an imperceptible hint of cake batter still in the background. The minerality and acidity make the whole tangy and juicy. We have a hint of umami on the finish, good persistence.
