The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of bright cassis, fresh blackberryand small notes of small red berries associated with touches of raspberry leaf as well as hints of nutmeg, hazelnuet, almond, discreet hints of spices and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, small fresh/juicy red berriesand small notes of cassis associated with touches of iris, iris as well as subtle hints of spices, fresh tobacco and a very discreet hint of toasted. Tannins are finely marked.
