Château de Cazeneuve – Le Causse 2017 – Languedoc
The nose is aromatic and offers a certain intensity. It reveals notes of quince, fresh nutmeg and small notes citrus associated with a touch of mirabelle plum, spices as well as discreet hints of olive tree / dry local grove. The palate is fruity, fresh, racy and offers a beautiful finesse of the tension, fat, precision, a certain aromatic purity as well as racy minerality. Full of tension and control. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of quince, fleshy / juicy pear, citrus and small notes of fresh nutmeg associated with small touches of spices, pine sap, sense of place (local biotop) and racy minerality. Good length. Presence of a subtle hint of seeds on the finish / persistence.
