The nose is elegant, racy and offers deepness, power (full of elegance/control) and a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of wild black, small ripe red berries and small notes of violet associated with touches of wild strawberry, bright violet plum as well as fine hints of pink pepper, spices, nutmeg, a discreet hint of caramelized almond, a subtle hint of racy minerality, Badiane and an imperceptible varietal hint (in the background). The palate is fruity, racy, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition as well as gourmandize, tension, power/concentration (full of elegance), finesse, suavity, density and a small fleshiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulpy red cherry, bright blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright plum, juicy/pulpy strawberry as well as fine hints of lily, rose, bourbon vanilla pod, almond, a very discreet hint of chocolate and Badiane. Tannins are elegant, fine, precise, structuring and racy. A good length and persistence. A very fine chew on the finish/persistence. A hint of chocolate and crushed almond on the persistence/aftertaste.
