Château Claud Bellevue 2022 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, velvety and offers balanced richness and a certain complexity. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, small jammy black fruits and more slightly – licorice stick associated with touches of violet, crushed black plum, as well as hints of tonka bean and vanilla. The palate is mineral and offers fruit, juiciness, roundness, a discreetly tight and tense grain. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed black plum and more slightly – graphite associated with touches of roasted raspberry as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, licorice stick, vanilla. Good length. A little freshness and tension, a lot of maturity.
