The nose is fine, elegant, aromatic and straight. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, ripe/fresh strawberry and very discreet hints of flowers (violet, rose) associated with a discreet hint of spices, toasted as well as a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a good roundness, a nice suavity as well as a nice minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/fresh raspberry and a discreet hint of fleshy/juicy fresh berries associated with hints of licorice, chocolate as well as a very discreet toasted hint/vanilla. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence on slight notes of bitter dark chocolate, a discreet hint of coffee, caramelization as well as hints of juicy blackberry. The persistence is gourmande and suave.
