Chantemerle 2012 – Côtes du Jura

Chantemerle 2012 – Côtes du Jura

The nose is fruity with some power and intensity. There is a small richness that is precisely managed and balanced. There are notes of pulpy / tangy apples, crushed pears, dried lemon associated with fine hints of exotic berries, lemon caviar as well as a discreet hint of almond and apple blossom. The palate is fruity, juicy and fresh. There is a good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as tension. There are notes of pulpy apples, vine peach and more lightly lychee combined with hints of quenette. There are small tangy yellow fruits as well as a hint of exotic fruits, dried almond and a subtle hint of hazelnut accompanied by walnut vinegar and an imperceptible note of medicinal herbs. Good length. Aromatic power on the finish.
