Champagne Lacourte Godbillon, M.A.M, 2015

Champagne Lacourte Godbillon, M.A.M, 2015

This Champagne has a beautiful straw yellow color with golden reflects. Bubbles are dynamic. The nose is intense with creamy notes of bourbon vanilla cream, egg yolk but also cooked apple, quince and saffron. With air, the wood is well integrated and present with touches of coconut, toast and brioche. It is fresh, with character and an attractive roundness yet supported by a straight minerality. The palate is fresh, tangy with still the woodiness that appears on the attack with notes of pine sap, coconut, rosewood as well as sental wood. The palate finishes with precious notes accompanied by a beautiful salivating acidity which continues in a subtle finish. The champagne is fruity with fine hints of yellow peach, pear, apple and plum. The bubbles are present and pleasant. The whole is airy while having depth and complexity. A very beautiful Champagne with a discreet but persistent finish.
