Champagne Guy Larmandier – Signé Francois 2008, Vieilles Vignes – Grand Cru, Brut

The nose is mineral, fresh, racy and offers elegance as well as a very fine creaminess. It reveals notes of fresh citrus, fresh quince and small notes of crunchy flat peach associated with discreet hints of almond and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame as well as fine suavity. The effervescence is fine and well-built. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of lemon, fleshy brugnon, fleshy pear and small notes of quenette associated with touches of limestone as well as very discreet hints of toasted/bee wax. Good length.
