The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a beautiful ripe / crunchy fruit. It reveals notes of Quetsche plum, fleshy strawberry and slight notes of cherry, blackberry associated with a subtle touch of flowers, a subtle hint of almond, cocoa, sweet spices, a very discreet hint of violet as well as an imperceptible hint of pepper and orange zests. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful finesse, a beautiful juiciness, a slight suavity, a good definition, a slight acid frame, gourmandise as well as a beautiful fruit. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, plum and fleshy strawberry combined with slight touches of cherry, cocoa, toasted oak as well as subtle touches of vanilla, caramelization, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of orange (on the finish). Tannins are fine and slightly tight. Good length.
