This wine expresses fruity notes (yellow fruit) associated with notes of dried fruits (figs, dates, oranges), spices and toast. Very slight trace of freshness in the background.
A fine with wine aromas and richer than the Château Rabaud-Promis 1964. It expresses notes of dried fruits and candied yellow fruits. Good intensity in mouth. It is soft, fresh and persistent.
A good wine, lively, with a little freshness. It expresses notes of raisins and honey. It also expresses very light notes of white flowers in the background.
A fruity nose with notes including dried apricots and candied fruits. These notes are also presents in mouth but associated with nutty notes and small hints of spice. In the background still small traces of freshness that characterizes this chateau.
A pretty wine with finesse and elegance. It expresses little notes of candied fruits, pears associated with licorice and spice. Also some notes of prunes but more discreet than in previous vintages. Good length.
A more intense in the mouth than the previous wine (Château Rabaud-Promis 1951), well-balanced with notes of pear and candied plum wine. Moderately persistent mouth.
A less expressive wine than the Château Rabaud-Promis 1950. Also it expresses notes of dried fruits (especially pineapple), prunes but less present than in 1950. Oxidation notes.
A wine that is more expressive than the first. Notes of prunes, dried fruits (including dried apples) accompanied by a little acidity. Despite the age it still has traces of freshness in the mouth that leads tasting.
A wine that always lives up to its name despite its age. It lost vivacity, sugar (few remaining sugar) however we still feel the bottom trademark of this property: the freshness and acidity. It expresses notes of prunes and lighter notes of raisins and licorice. A wine that we were pleasantly surprised when tasting it.
