Solid expression of Cabernet Franc with close to no mintiness at all. Heavily concentrated and dense blueberries and blackberries with balsamic character. There’s a lovely freshness that holds up this pure & muscular wine to make it smoothly balanced. It’s a unique expression.

Dark and ripe, this wine is heavily smoky with intense aromas of blackberries, black currant, saucy plums, tobacco, rubber and an overwhelming green pepper presence. It’s very typical, nothing surprising, from the actual aromas to the heavy palate. It’s nicely done and balanced, especially considering the amount of strength & depth to integrate.
Folly is the adventurous range from Montes Alpha combining the steepest, highest slopes in Apalta with a bold varietal choice. Blackened in color and expression, the wine is condensed with cooked and sweet notes of blueberries, vanilla beans and coconut. It’s ripped to the core, robust and well balanced on the palate with smooth tannins…
The color is a bold opaque, inky purple. Classic, heavily wooded style, this wine shows a lot of empyreumatic aromas. Chocolate, grounded coffee, toast, smoke, charcoal and charred wood makes up the base of the aromatic profile. On the palate, the fruit is way more forward, with fleshy dark blackberries and cherries.
Deeply purple, this wine has chunky, saucy cherries & plums. The wood character is well integrated along with chocolate, clove & spiced cedar. On the palate, we have concentration, maturity & dense, grinding, noticeable tannins. It’s definitely full-bodied and textured with a fennel element on the finish almost hidden by the overall intensity.
Typical expression of Carménère with a lovely aromatic approach. It has a complex nose with aromas of raspberry, Nutmeg, cherries, red pepper and a hint of cocoa powder and cedar. The palate is tart and spicier than what was announced on the nose. It is full-bodied with smooth & soft tannins.
