A fruity nose that reveals red fruits (cherry) and black fruits including blackcurrant, plum and sweet spices (including tobacco). In mouth the wine is well-balanced, with well-defined fruity notes. There are oaky notes. They are supporting the fruit and not hide it. The tannins are well done but still young (wait 2 years).
This wine expresses toasty notes, liquorice notes, aromas of cassis, blueberries, black berries, plums and violets combined with some soft tannins but quite well done (need to age). A mineral (but less than in the Château l’Isoumise – Chai 45) and well-balanced wine.
