The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers intensity (full of finesse) as well as a well-balanced concentration. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, crushed strawberry, small notes of pulpy wild blueberry associated with touches of almond, toasted hazelnut, violet as well as fine hints of hot black olive, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of oriental spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers precision, a beautiful definition, finesse of the grain, juiciness as well as construction and a very fine freshness (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous blueberry, fleshy/crunchy strawberry, small notes of violet plum associated with touches of small crushed red berries, violet, cornflower as well as fine hints of thyme flowers, toasted hazelnut, sweet spices and toasted. Tannins are fine, elegant and gourmand. A very fine chew as well as an imperceptible hint of chocolate and olive tree (in the background) on the persistence. A beautiful wine!
