Monteverro – Terra di Monteverro 2012 – Toscana IGT

(50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot) The nose is aromatic, powerful, fruity and offers a certain elegance. It reveals notes of black cherry and blackberry combined with fine blackberry cream, flowers, blueberry as well as touches of laurel and a slight touch of menthol. The palate is fruity, fine, mineral, elegant, well-structured and offers a beautiful matter, suavity, a small tension and freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, blueberry cream associated with fine notes of raspberry, fig, cherry, as well as hints of chocolate, licorice, a few slight roasted notes and oaky notes. Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly firm. Good length.
