This Single Malt presents a gold color with shine and limpidity. The nose is aromatic and powerful with hints of smoke, peat and a little bit of iodine. There is personality with notes of dried fruits such as hazelnuts but also fresh fruits such as pear and lemon. There is a nice tangy frame. The attack is frank and round. We find the peat, well worked, with a mastered smoky side. Fruits like pear and almond appear. The mid-palate is balanced by acidity. The toast and oak are discreet with a little currant grape. The finish is slightly saline with notes of grains, flour (grist) and dried fruits.
