The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity, with very light garnet reflections. The nose offers concentration in delicacy, complexity and a textured touch. The first nose is perfumed and spicy, slightly toasted and chocolatey. It expresses notes of ground cumin, nutmeg, liquorice. After aeration, smoky notes, fresh hazelnut, as well as mentholated touches (fresh mint, fresh rose with a hint of dried rose) appear. We also find a mineral, even slightly salinenote, a hint of crushed mint and fresh fruits (fresh red cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry, strawberry, crushed ripe raspberry). The palate is silky and complex, with a beautiful freshness, a tangy side of fruits, fairly ample but delicate tannins and a beautiful acidity. It expresses the flavors of dried red cherry, morello cherry, fresh strawberry, blueberry, dried blackcurrant and a tannic hint of bird cherry, associated with touches of tobacco, undergrowth and dried rose in the background (tertiary notes are slightly felt), a hint of bitter chocolate, toast, smoke, liquorice and nutmeg. The finish is fruity, tangy and quite persistent.
