The Sexton Single Malt Irish Whiskey 40% – Irish Whiskey

The Sexton Single Malt Irish Whiskey 40% – Irish Whiskey

The nose is fresh with a hint of sweetness. It is aromatic, powerful with notes of cooked apple as well as custard. We also perceive spices like pepper. The palate is fresh, powerful but measured. We have a superb note of almond paste from the attack and which continues in the mid-palate. It is balanced both in terms of power and aromatics. We also have touches of pepper and apple with a hint of liquorice. We also have a slightly saline side which was slightly present in the mouth and which is more persistent in the finish.
