Tenute Valdo – Prede del Falco 2020 – Montefalco Sagrantino

The nose is racy and offers a certain power, a graphite side, a racy and intense grain. There are notes of camphor, Boysenberry and small notes of roasted small fruits associated with touches of local garrigue and a hint of balsamic and spices. The mouth is beautifuly juicy, fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers minerality, a beautiful freshness, a certain chewiness, brightness of the fruit as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy blackberry, fleshy/ creaminess plum and small notes of bright raspberry associated with a touch of chocolate, black olive and a toast. Good length. Savory, chewy and discreetly marked tannins on the finish. Notes of chocolate on the finish/ persistence. Beautiful gourmandise and chewiness.
