The nose is elegnat, aromatic an doffers a certain deepness, a beautiful definition as well as a certain density. There are notes of boysenberry, quite ripe small wild fruits, a hint of Sichuan pepper as well as discreet hints of camphor, undergrowth and a subtle almost sage hint. The mouth is fruity, elegant, gourmand, beautifuly defined and offers an acidulous frame, minerality, finesse, delicacy as well as a beautiful controled and precise power. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, quite ripe cassis and small notes of dried small fruits associated with touches of undergrowth, a subtle hint of smoke, camphor as well as à hint of torrefied almond. Good length. Sapid and chewy tannins. Powerful, stretched and balanced finish.
