The nose is fruity and offers energy and a certain concentration. It expresses the notes of pulpy cherry, crushed raspberry and, more slightly, crushed blueberry, associated with touches of violet, a sense of place as well as fine hints of star anise and a very discreet hint of sage in the background. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh structure, tension, a nice roundness and a spherical touch in the mouth, gourmandise and a nice fatness, a fine aerial side in its richness. It expresses the notes of plump/pulpy cherry, creamy cassis and, small notes of almost roasted red berry notes, combined with hints of cornflower, liquorice stick, sense of place as well as fine hints of sweet blond tobacco with a discreet hint of chocolate. Good length. The tannins are gourmand and soft.
