Rocca delle Macie, Casa Maria Estate Vermentino Superiore Vigna L’Aja Bruciata 2022 – Maremma Toscana DOC

Rather intense straw yellow colour with good luminosity. On the nose a great breadth of aromas, from yellow flowers to dried fruit, ripe grapefruit, almonds and magnolia. On the palate a great layering and length as well as fullness of flavour with an almost tannic perception that sinks in the matter and releases a savoury sensation that enriches the taste and entices drinking. Impressive and very dense in the centre of the mouth, a Vermentino just at the beginning of its journey with an evolutionary edge to be discovered over the next five years.
