Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy Cuvée « à Nicolas » 2022 – Sancerre

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic and refined. It expresses notes of juicy red fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, red currants, fresh raspberry, dried raspberry, fresh blackcurrant), associated with a fragrant floral bouquet (cornflower, violet, lilac), a fine herbaceous side (dried mint, fresh peppermint) and a hint of nutmeg in the background. The palate is savoury, finely tight and chiseled. It expresses the flavors of dried morello cherry, tart red cherry, red currants, blackcurrant and cranberries, associated with herbaceous (peppermint in the background, blackcurrant leaf) and floral notes (cornflower, violet). The finish is tight, straight and tangy, with notes of bigarreau cherry and a hint of blackcurrant. The tannins are fine and powdery, with a good structure.
