October One Vineyard – O1V 2022, Albarino – Virginia

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a certain freshness. It reveals notes of lychee, fresh/juicy peach and small notes of honeysuckle associated with touches of fresh kumquat as well as fine hints of lime blossom and a discreet hint of verbena. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, a small tension as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lychee, crunchy peach and small notes of crunchy apple associated with touches of juicy/fresh pear, lime blossom as well as a subtle hint of kumquat in the background. Good length. A fine mellow finish/persistence.
