Muratori Franciacorta Millé 2020

Muratori Franciacorta Millé 2020

The “Millé” – short for “Millesimato” or “Millesimo” – may have undergone stylistic changes over the years, but that’s not our concern here. Especially now, as we set out to describe the 2020 vintage: the latest produced.

A pure Chardonnay, its aromas eloquently evoke the fluvioglacial soils and moraines of its origins. This wine serves as an excellent representation – a flagship – of the area that includes the municipality of Adro (six kilometers from Lake Iseo), Nigoline, and Erbusco as its foundation.

Already impressive on approach, it is balanced in its composition, expressing iodine, power, sensations of wet stone, and an acidity that is already integrated, enhancing and elevating its flavor. Likely due to the vintage, it is accessible even today. As is.
