Maison Viallet, Château d’Apremont, Cuvée Jacques de Montmayeur 2022 – Vin de Savoie Apremont

The wine has a pale lemon-yellow color. The nose is aromatic, fresh and straight, with a delicate smoky and mineral touch, which develops after aeration towards the note of gunflint. Then, we find the tangy notes of lemon, grated lemon zest, lime juice, lime blossom, pomelo and white peach, associated with notes of acacia, lime blossom, as well as with a hint of honey and nutmeg in the background. The palateis chiseled, lively and expresses in attack its mineral and flinty smokiness, which we have on the nose. The mid-palate offers freshness and fruity roundness in balance (flavors of lemon, lime zest, pomelo, combined with notes of white peach and green apple), as well as a floral touch. (acacia, lime) and a good bitterness, softened by the note of flower honey. The finish is persistent and tangy. Beautiful lively and salivating acidity, lots of freshness.
