Louis Max – Les Caudroyes 2016 – Mercurey

Louis Max – Les Caudroyes 2016 – Mercurey

The nose is aromatic, slightly gourmand and offers a small elegance, precision as well as a fine juiciness. It reveals notes of quince, kumquat and small toasted notes / vanilla associated with small touches of white fruit (pear …) as well as a discreet hint of citrus and butter. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, fresh, mineral, precise and offers good definition, a beautiful acid frame and dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, ripe lemon and crunchy vine peach associated with small touches of apple, a touch of crunchy mirabelle plum, zest (lemon, tangerine) as well as a discreet hint of beeswax / almond. Good length. Good persistence (with acidulous hints, toasted hints as well as on almond).
