The nose is aromatic, with fruit and some spices. We perceive notes of clove, small wild red fruits, and small notes of cornflower, associated with toasted touches, tobacco, as well as fine hints of nutmeg. The palate is nicely structured, supple, fresh, elegant, airy, with a tangy structure, accuracy, and a beautiful tension and energy, currently it benefits from being decanted. There are notes of juicy/fresh wild blackcurrant, cornflower, and more discreetly small bright red berries, associated with touches of clove, zan, as well as a hint of nutmeg and a discreet note almost of bay leaves in the background and toasted. Tannins are sapid.
